Tim Six – Crimean-born sound artist of Ukrainian origin, music collector and label curator currently based in Paris. Exploring different shades of drone, ambient and neo new age music, Tim Six uses old & new synthesizers, cassette tape and field recordings to create his warm, enveloping sound. While his works tend to be very minimal, they are always full of hidden details. His live concerts are always improvised depending on the surroundings, and range from quiet all-night sleep concerts to full body massage wall-of-sound performances. Tim Six' music is mostly released on cassette format and he also runs cassette label GLOBAL PATTERN. Tim Six is also known as Creation VI, playing more acoustic focused drone / ritual music since 2006 and releasing at Cryo Chamber label and as part of St. Petersburg drone scene, known for its forest festivals and numerous live collaborations.
