Sergey Babkin is a Ukrainian artist, musician, actor, composer, author and performer of his own songs, a member of the 5'Nizza group. Sergey is a native Kharkiv citizen who has been fond of playing the guitar since childhood. After high school, Babkin continued his studies at the theater department of the Lyceum of Arts. It was here that the artist met Andrey Zaporozhets, a future friend and colleague, with whom they founded the 5'Nizza group in 2000. And after graduating from the Kharkov Institute of Arts, he immediately became a member of the "Theater 19". Babkin began his solo career in 2004, when his first album "URA!" was released, followed by "БИС", "Сын", "Мотор" and many others. In 2017, at the end of January, the 7th season of Ukrainian The Voice show started where Sergey Babkin was invited as a mentor. And taking part in the show for the second time - in the 8th season of The Voice Babkin led to victory his team member Alena Lutsenko, who charmed the whole Ukraine with her singing and sincerity! In 2017, Sergey Babkin took part in the popular TV project "Dancing with Stars", where he danced with his wife Snezhana. Together they became one of the most beloved pairs of Ukrainian viewers. As Babkin himself says, “first of all, above all, in spite of everything, he is an actor,” but not a musician, and certainly not a singer. During the performance of his songs, he wants to show the audience a mini-performance in which the words are the text of the character.
