hasGotten is about love hasGotten is a solo project of Kyiv-based musician Alexey Yuryev, guitarist of the Kryhitka band. He combines the sound of the Ukrainian indie scene of recent years, electronics, memorable guitar melodies and vocals in the coldwave style. Alexey is not limited by genre, leaving room for musical experiments. hasGotten was founded in 2019. The discography consists of five singles: Hair, Party, Forgive Me Not, We Run and Absolution. In December 2019 the first official video for the track We Run was released. Album debut and new video are slated for October 2020. Kyiv musicians and producers Yaroslav Tatarchenko (MAiAK, BUNHT, Tonka), Dmitry Leonov (Brunettes Shoot Blondes) and Yuri Akop took part in the recordings. “HasGotten’s music is about love. But not about the romanticised one, which is described in books and films, but the real one: sometimes unfair, harsh and painful. The basis of lyrics and music is honesty”, says Alexey. The rhythm of the music doesn’t make you dance, but think about your true feelings. Embrace your dark side and let yourself be.
