Postfactum

Postfactum is a Ukrainian eclectic musical project which combines elements from different genres and creates a dark landscape from dissonant synthesizers, heavy guitars and field-recorded samples combining both electronic and noisy-acoustic sound. Started in 2019 by Illia Masko and Valeria Warhola it was a first experince in creating music for both. After a few EP and single releases Postfactum still draws inspiration in trip hop music but tries to add as many new elements as possible. LP Dissonance released in 2022 during full-scale russian invasion in Ukraine captures the experience of the first months of it and transforms into a set of tracks filled with rage, hatred, sadness and hope. Next LP Інсомнія (which band considers as its debut LP) scheduled for release in April 2024. It combines electronic and acoustic sound in experimental way and tries to draw inspiration from many genres.
