Saltfalls

Saltfalls is a Ukrainian band based in Berlin. Their music is on the crossroad of dreampop, dreamgaze, shoegaze and post punk. Hometown friends Yaryna Borynets and Max Barna started the project in 2023. Later that year Dmytro Vaskovets (solo project <a href="spotify:artist:3PRsyFvy6CpIl2g8niEpij" data-name="Wheatness">Wheatness</a>) joined the band. The name Saltfalls comes from the phenomenon that can be seen on the mining quarry in Kalush (hometown of Yaryna & Max). Here potassium salt comes to the surface and falls on the tericons. Many songs are dedicated to the city and time spent there.
