provulok

provulok (fka “pereulok pyatniskii”) is an instrumental project of Loman Sudakly in the mix of shoegaze, post rock and indie genres. Lyoman was born in 1998 in the Crimean city Sudak, but after the occupation of this territory, he was forced to leave his home and move to Kyiv. In 2016, in an attempt to find his flow, genre and mood, he created an experimental project working with romantic sad bits, which resulted in the writing of several unreleased albums. Under the influence of such performers as Black Marble, This Cold Normandy, BONES, Placebo and The XX, the test sound took the form of instrumental synthesis with a spatial guitar filled with delay and reverb, in places with gloomy motives, immersing the listener into the music. The first official album Paranoic was released in 2018, a year after moving from his native land, where he spend his childhood. As a result, the unsuccessful adaptation prompted the author to create the first assembly of atmospheric post-rock compositions, with a definite melancholic musical context. The underlying philosophy of the project is the communication that the artist broadcasts, using the instrument as a unified communicator, the universal language of all humanity, as a special type of energy that cuts in the hearts of people and immerses them in a special state, feeling, even memories. Thus, the author talks with you in one voice, telling you the mood, which each interprets in a special way.
