саметой is a tsunami of energy, good mood and a mixture of musical genres. Two guys from the capital of Ukraine stand behind the name: drummer Artem Palamarchuk and frontman Stanislav Zankevich. The first release took place in the fall of 2014 under the name The Same Toy. The first EP with the short and symbolic name “N” was released. "N" is the first letter of the word "independent". And this line can be traced both in the musical material and in the group's lyrics. However, the band's birthday is August 14, 2015. It was on this day that the guys performed an acoustic program at one of the largest festivals in Europe - Sziget. After several years of active activity, the guys took a break and focused on another area of professional activity. The band planned to return with releases in March 2022, but fate had other plans. After the experience and active participation in volunteer initiatives, the band created its own YouTube channel "Same Toi Kanal", where the guys interview people who survived the occupation and fought in the Kyiv region. At the same time, Stas witnessed many events in Bucha, and Artem did not leave Kyiv all the time, where he experienced many fateful moments. "We need to release now, because tomorrow may not be" - these are the words with which we started the rebranding of the band. Now we are саметой!
