Pororoka

Pororoka is Ukrainian dark-folk band founded in Kyiv in 2017. Our music is a mix of different types of voices, grunge guitar, tender bandura, piano and djembe. Some of our songs sound similar to Ukrainian folk music, but non of them belong to. We use ethnic vocal technics and ethnic instruments of our country in authorial manner. As for our name. Pororoka is a name of the wave, which appears twice in a year on the Amazon River, when Atlantic Ocean invades into it. So this is not Ukrainian phenomenon, but it's exact name for Pororoka music, its dynamic and our feeling of music.
