Banduragirl

BanduraGirl (Anastasiya Voytyuk) is a Ukrainian singer, bandura player, songwriter & social activist. She is the leader of the folk fusion band Troye Zillia, with whom she has released 4 LP, 2 EP and 5 singles, blending Ukrainian folk traditions with contemporary styles. In her solo project BanduraGirl, she creates indie-folk songs featuring the traditional Ukrainian folk bandura - a delicate and rarely used instrument with a unique sound. Her music connects tradition with modern indie songwriting and reflects contemporary Ukrainian experiences. Anastasiya is also the founder of Lviv Bandura Fest, a festival of modern bandura that creates a platform for bandura players to develop, collaborate, and share new music. She is the co-founder of Bandura App, a mobile application where users can play six traditional Ukrainian folk instruments.
