Dru Roma is a producer, DJ, and event organizer from Kharkiv, shaping Ukraine’s electronic music scene. His journey began in 2012 with the House Traffic project, though his love for music started in childhood—his sister used to gift him rave tapes from her pocket money. He gained recognition through residencies at clubs like Opium, Bolero Bar, and Kharkovchanin Bar, and as the art director of Bar. Party Bolero, where he fostered a strong music community. Specializing in House, Deep House, and Minimal/Deep Tech, Roman co-founded the duo DRUBON, with releases on top labels such as RADIANT, Pipe & Pochet, Go Deeva, Exotic Refreshment, Soulfooled, and more. In 2022, he launched his own label, TANOK, connecting local and international artists to bring Ukrainian electronic music to the global stage. His latest solo project, Dru Roma, explores a deeper, more underground sound, reflecting years of growth and experience. Roman also curates events like FRAU, The Garden, and Black & White, and has performed at festivals including Koktebel Jazz, Sea Freedom, and Bukovel Music Festival, as well as venues like Kureni, Sky Bar, Heaven, and Forsage. He has shared stages with icons such as Artbat, Oliver Huntemann, HOSH, Kiko, Moonwalk, LEHAR, Supernova, Phonique, Bebetta, Frankey & Sandrino, among others. Today, he continues producing, experimenting with sound, and inspiring the next wave of artists in Ukraine and beyond.
