Chernivtsi-born and Leipzig-based singer and songwriter The Collin is a unique representative of Ukrainian music. His songs can be described as a fusion of folklore, poetic lyrics and mythological elements of Slavic culture, all with a deeply personal point of view. In his debut album «Notatky Nebajduzhoho Mrijnyka» (2023), he tells an emotional story about Ukraine and its people, touching on themes of war, melancholy, love and, most importantly, hope. In his own words, his music is a healing “therapy” for everyone who might need it.
