Chasing Embers is a Ukrainian Alternative Metal band founded in Kyiv in 2016. Band's music style has been formed under the influence of old school rock and metal, and also nu metal of 2000s. Chasing Embers is an alternative metal with sincere lyrics and a unique atmosphere. The band released their debut long play album <a href="spotify:album:5PEc08V7xhQvOcDvl5A9fD" data-name="Beckoning Call">Beckoning Call</a> on October 3, 2019. The topic of the title song of the album is the issue of industrialization and human separation from the nature. The lyrics on this album are dedicated to the person&#96;s inner world, their thoughts, desires and aspirations. The band aims to write about things they experienced in their own lives in order to achieve the utmost honesty in their songs. In April 2021 the band changed their name to <a href="spotify:artist:0gzGUzPSIeDzFzJWEgu2KR" data-name="Kthona">Kthona</a>. On April 23 of the same year the band released their first single under the new name called <a href="spotify:album:0eArPgqgpmCm0tbpnouOhl" data-name="Cancel My Culture">Cancel My Culture</a>.
