ummsbiaus is an experimental multidisciplinary artist, native of Kyïv, working in the field of music and visual art. In 2023, she released her debut album Enerhomor, based on the sounds of electricity (electricity meters, sounds of power stations and electricity transformers), which was named among the best albums 2023 in the leading Ukrainian webzine Slukh and the international magazine A Closer Listen. So far she has released three electronic suites. ummsbiaus is not only about music: it's about the idea of combining all possible forms of art to evoke feelings on different levels of perception. “ummsbiaus first appeared on international streaming services with 'Melynchka', recorded in the early days of the russian invasion. She recorded this track on her phone, in her garage, using the sounds of air defence systems and missile volleys, along with an old accordion...
