Khrystyna Kirik is a sound artist in experimental improvisational music. In her work, she explores the sensory state of sound perception using electronic hardware, double bass and piano pre recorded samples, voice, field recordings, and DIY sounding objects. She creates sound collages combining sensual, mistic, contemplative, dreamy, subtle and minimalistic. She collaborates across various disciplines to advance our understanding of the mind and body through the medium of art. She is a creator of the experimental musical instrument workshop sound→box, co-founder of the art space _____036, author of the multimedia project Liniyï, sound artist and composer of the Mariia & Magdalyna project, teacher of music and performance at Dakh School.
