We met in a pizzeria. 
 After drinking a few glasses of beer, we laughed at some silly jokes and threw the names of emo bands we were listening to at each other, and finally agreed that we should cover <a href="spotify:artist:6vCs4rj3rvYAX3l7dEiPq9" data-name="Marietta">Marietta</a>. Besides our desire to play music, we really wanted to support the European and especially the Ukrainian scene, where Midwest Emo as a genre is a very rare thing. This is how <a href="spotify:artist:2I6hcukZveOY8oV8INJOcP" data-name="Triple Jump">Triple Jump</a> got its start. 
 We were inspired by <a href="spotify:artist:5bCNJ1ICzdnzK0yoCIP2Ip" data-name="The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die">The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6vCs4rj3rvYAX3l7dEiPq9" data-name="Marietta">Marietta</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1BfYXNfaB5HBwHn4gxnEQE" data-name="Algernon Cadwallader">Algernon Cadwallader</a>, and, of course, we wanted to write our own music. It came out pretty contrasting: sometimes it's cheerful and lively, sometimes it's melancholic, and the lyrics are mainly about some kind of ever-present internal conflict, often with a touch of self-irony.
