Ira Luzina is a London-based female indie rock artist. Born in the oppressive Soviet Union, growing up in independent Ukraine, and starting a new life from scratch in London, Ira brings a unique perspective to her music, shaped by a lifetime of navigating different cultures and experiences. Her music is a rich blend of rock, pop, blues, jazz, and even elements of folk and gospel, as exemplified in her 2021 track I Say No (NEA), which was featured on a Spotify Editorial playlist. Ira combines raw-sounding instruments and vocals with emotionally charged lyrics, creating music that celebrates individuality and the human spirit. As a former member of the all-women indie trio Panivalkova, she toured across Europe, performed at showcases such as Eurosonic, and got attention and coverage from BBC Radio 6, Tom Ravenscroft’s show. In 2025, Ira will continue working on her EP and will release two more singles – Man and Stars.
