Seva Fedorchenko, also known as Rade Jz, is an 18-year-old boy hailing from a small town in Ukraine who started making music when he was 17 years old. Music has always been a tremendous part of the artist’s life. His musical journey began with playing drums way before singing and writing songs sparked his interests. Despite facing significant language barriers, he was always infatuated with the idea of storytelling in its rawest and most authentic form. As a child, Seva was all about doing what made him happy and being active, demonstrating his skills in a variety of different sports such as hockey, football and basketball. After about 2 years of mastering the English language while trying to write songs that were mostly nonsensical, he decided that it was time to take charge of his music career by turning his personal experiences into songs. Given the atrocious situation in Ukraine that has rubbed off on the artist, he was inspired to start writing songs about himself and the hardships he had gone through before the war. Drawing his inspiration from artists such as Tory Lanez, Trippie Redd, Justin Bieber and many more, he was always prompted to hone in on the highs and lows of his life. Though he couldn’t afford professional gear, he still managed to make it work with just a pair of wired iPhone headphones and BandLab, an app a friend had recommended. Eventually, he was able to set up a home studio, which allowed him to improve the quality of his music.
