Ex Animo is a dark metal band from Kharkiv, Ukraine, started in the early '00s. The band aims to combine aggressive and yet melodic sound trying to follow their own path and not stick to any specific style defying styles as bounds for creativity. Though their music is heavily influenced by such bands as Anathema, Amorphis, Moonspell, The Gathering, October Tide, Swallow The Sun, Paradise Lost.
