When I read books sometimes, I can hear music playing in my head to accompany a scene, a character moment or just as a background song for a certain location. Sometimes there are songs mentioned in the books, and I imagine them as well. I decided to it take it one step further – from my imagination to actual music that anyone can listen to. I started with theme songs for main characters in a great fantasy novel Kings of the Wyld be Nicholas Eames. You can already listen to these tracks, but there are more on the way for other characters and moments in this book and its sequel, as well as other works by some of my favorite authors. Mainly fantasy authors. Writing music is the best way for me to express what I thought of a book, so hopefully my songs will help you to get a clearer picture of your favorite moments in the novels you love or at least spark an interesting discussion on my YouTube or Instagram.
