Marharyta Pazii known professionally as Marri Sienn is a 21 year old singer-songwriter from Luhansk, Ukraine. Marri developed interest in music in early childhood, spending as much time as possible playing old detuned piano at her home and asking her mother, who is a professional singer, to teach her how to sing after being inspired by her favorite singer, Ariana Grande. Soon after starting attending music school at 11 in her hometown, she must fly Luhansk in 2014, after Russian-backed separatists seized power there. Moving with her family to Kyiv, she continued her music education mostly attending private lessons, further developing her skills and talent. In early 2023 Marri decided to start shooting cover videos promoting her Instagram page. That led to meeting with Kyiv-based producers Góshes and Kinero who then actively searched for female artist to create a new music project. As result of almost 1 year of diligent work, they release a first EP “WKMB” which sonically blends Marri’s tender but powerful vocal with glitchy lo-fi beats and skilfully layered synths sounds. In “WKMB” music supports deeply introspective lyrics about Marri’s suffering and breaking up the abusive relationships, reflecting her emotional state and creating the holistic sonic and aesthetic journey for the listener.
