<a href="spotify:artist:6n8ClvWyy9wSXIry9DXjIa" data-name="Chorna Roza">Chorna Roza</a> are a British-Ukrainian folk-rock band known for their impactful and energetic style. Based in the North West of England, all the band members were born in the UK but have Ukrainian heritage, and their mutual obsession for Eastern European melodies has brought them together to make music for the last two decades. Formed in 2003, the early years of Chorna Roza's existence were dedicated to reimagining Ukrainian dance-hall music, which led to their first album release in 2011 - <a href="spotify:album:7AGylJ4syxuf12wVOwWaxl" data-name="Live In Zabava Mode">Live In Zabava Mode</a>. In more recent years, their repertoire has evolved into an eclectic concoction of rock, punk, metal, ska, latin and reggae - all tangled up with Ukrainian folk music at the centre of it all. The first release of the new Roza sound was the barnstorming rock-ska single <a href="spotify:track:7BJM763w71Wt22GxHYVnpk" data-name="Zakarpatti">Zakarpatti</a> in 2021. This was followed up with the powerful folk-rock single <a href="spotify:album:6DGXiS1ticXipMKmDtVFE3" data-name="У сусіда">У сусіда</a> in 2023. And in 2024, the band have finally released their long-awaited second album Люкс Буде!
