Hailing from the lush and mysterious city of Fastiv, under the guise of dark hooded cloaks, Aeternus Prophet has unleashed over a decade of sonic destruction as one of Fastiv’s longest-standing black/death metal outfits. Circling the Slavic nations under a name written in the imperial dead language, with the goal of promoting intellectual progression, they have stood vigilant as prominent figures in the Ukrainian metal scene since 2010. Through years of observing the history of the world and realizing their standing in life, the vision for “Ruthlessness” was revealed and actualized itself as a unique hybrid of traditional black metal with an unrelenting drive found in the core of death metal’s dynamics. Martyrs in a modern world that refused to acknowledge the artistic evolution of black and death metal has brought the band closer and closer to success, having toured Europe and share event dates with bands such as Possession, Malthusian, and Inferno, and have been featured and ranked by Euro News as one of the top 130 bands in Europe in 2019. Before moving on to the third volume in their artistic journey, the band sought to re-release Ruthlessness and present it to the world without the previous limitations of an independent release, featuring masterful artwork crafted by the exceptionally talented Cold Poison, English translated lyrics, and in modern digipak format.
